midway review is rather inaccurate considering the fact that I’m only up to episode 15! But I cant find another word for it. Holidays is rotting my brain, my English and Math are deteriorating while my Korean is improving. Die, i still have to write reports in English!!

So far, I’m really impressed with the cast. It’s not easy to portray Yang GukHwa without being rather exaggerated to the point of irritating. But Koo Hye Sun is really good. I am loving GukHwa more and more. She’s cute, but not overdoing it and her country bumpkin ways are done to perfection.

All the characters are so lovable, especially Myeong Hye (Yunho’s mum) and Park Yunjeong (Yunho’s older sis). haha both are as stubborn as each other and its really funny to see how they bicker and quarrel while not actually wanting to do so deep down. Two stubborn people just don’t mingle well. I’m looking forward to the part where they will reconcile (hopefully they will).

oh i love the part in ep 14 (or was it 15) where Yunjeong(Yunho’s younger sis) stormed into the office and cut of Ugyeong’s tie. That was really a surprise. which sane person will actually do that? That will be the last thing i will do.

Another part worth mentioning is where Yunjeong decides to take up an English class to improve her command of the language.

At the Learning Centre, the person in charge wanted to conduct an English proficiency test to gauge her current level:

person in charge: Please introduce yourself in English (speaks in English)

Yunjeong: EHH?

person in charge: Please introduce yourself in English (speaks in Korean)

Yunjeong: OH. Hello, My name is Park Yunjeong. I am very sexy and pretty. I have alot of pretty clothes. Thank you!

person in charge: ….

The last line was the ultimate!
