Sorry for the over-reaction, but I need to emphasise it. In case you were wondering what I’m talking about, it’s the number of suits that Lee Min Ho is estimated to wear during the entire 24 (mere) episodes of Boys Before Flowers!

In an interview with Mnet on 2th Feb, the main stylist of Boys Over Flowers revealed new information on F4’s fashion style. According to him, each person has his own unique fashion style, bringing out their character and personality in the show.

For Goo Jun-Pyo (Lee Min Ho), pelt and fur lined clothes combined with unique accessories brings out his sharp, crisp and charismatic image - what he termed as ‘edgy suit’. It brings out the POINT.

Conversely for Yoon Ji Hoo (Kim Hyun Joong), his soft image is emphasied using soft, pastal colors in his clothes.

For So Yi Jung (Kim Bum), ‘romantic suits’ were designed to suit his personality of a playboy.

In Song Woo Bin (Kim Joon)’s case, a ‘modified bohemian’ style was chosen.

The stylist deliberately not consult the images used for the other 2 versions of F4 in order not to adhere too closely to them and risk losing Boys Before Flower’s own uniqueness. In this case, he chose to consult the style of  Europe’s elite class instead.

Pelt-lined clothes is now the trademark of Goo Jun-Pyo. haha I wonder how animal rights activists will react.. hmm.

But I really have to give credit to the stylist. Clothes speaks the loudest when it comes to first impressions and I’m very pleased that the show is giving so much emphasis to little details here and there to bring out the very best.
